I recently had the opportunity to visit the British Airways Lounge at Boston Logan Airport. This lounge opened in 2017, as part of Logan Airport’s Terminal E expansion projects. British Airways passengers flying in business and first get access, as well as flyers with Oneworld emerald and sapphire status flying both British Airways and other partner airlines. Those with lounge access through Iberia and Japan Airlines will also be led to this lounge. Keep reading below and see what this lounge has to offer!
The lounge is located on the 4th floor, up the stairs and elevators next to gate E11. Head left after clearing security and it won’t be hard to miss. You’ll also find signs for the lounge throughout the terminal.
You’ll also spot the Lufthansa and Emirates lounges on the 4th floor as well.
The British Airways Lounge is past Lufthansa and Emirates. A hallway leads up to the entrance.

Upon entry, you’ll first spot a luggage drop to leave larger items and coats behind. It didn’t seem to be used much when I went though.
The lounge is designed very well. Although it isn’t a huge space, there are a variety of amenities, dining, and drinking options. This is the dining area located down the hallway after passing the entrance.
The foods at the lounge were mostly light meals, since I was visiting in the morning. Here they had sandwiches, fruit and other small snacks, and a hot bar. I avoided the hot bar because of the time of day, but it did look good.
Drinks were displayed very nicely. There was a lot to choose from, from soft drink beverages to wines and beers. I enjoyed the salad bar too.
I grabbed myself a salad from the salad bar. I also had a couple small sandwiches as well.
A coffee station was conveniently placed in one of the seating sections. This meant that we didn’t have to go all the way back to the kitchen after our meal.
This robot went around collecting trash and finished plates and cups. Just like the well placed coffee station, this meant passengers did not have to get up and go all the way back to the dining area to return their dishes and throw away trash. We were able to stay at our seats instead. Staff would also come around collecting plates and trash as well.
At the back of the lounge, there was a bar with a great window view behind it. The bar wasn’t available at this time of day, but I can expect a good time here with a great view of the city and the new Terminal E building when it’s open at night.
The bathrooms were nice and clean. There was a shower room as well.
This was perhaps my favorite part. We were able to board the plane straight from the lounge! This is a dedicated entrance to gate E12. No need to go back out to the gate, and then stand around for boarding to start. This made it a hassle free experience.
Concluding Thoughts
I thought this lounge was fantastic. British Airways did a great job designing it, being able to include many amenities in the given space. I found it to be a great place to relax before my flight. If you’re a Oneworld traveler flying through Boston, I highly recommend stopping by this lounge.
