New Capital One Lounge to Arrive in Charlotte

Passengers traveling through Charlotte will have a relatively solid selection of lounges once all the lounge additions are complete.

Capital One will debut its first Capital One Lounge in Charlotte in the near future, expanding its current fast-growing network of lounges.

The new lounge will be situated on the mezzanine level of Concourse A. The space is expected to span 14,000 square feet, which would make it the biggest among Capital One Lounges.

As of now, there is no word on a firm completion date from Capital One.

Charlotte is served primarily by American Airlines, which boasts its second-largest hub in its network. The lounge situation at the airport is widely seen as lackluster, however, and the Capital One Lounge will be a welcome addition.

In August 2025, American opened its first grab-and-go lounge, Provisions by Admirals Club, in Charlotte. The airline is also expected to open its first Flagship Lounge in Charlotte in the near future.

All in all, passengers traveling through Charlotte will have a relatively solid selection of lounges once all the lounge additions are complete.

Aside from Charlotte, Capital One currently has locations in Dallas (DFW), Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), New York (JFK), and Washington Dulles (IAD).

Passengers can expect an “elevated, regionally inspired travel experience” with the new one in Charlotte, similar to the rest of Capital One’s lounge network.
