The Hyatt Brand Explorer is a less-known perk of the World of Hyatt program. By staying at 5 different Hyatt brands, you get to earn a free night at a Category 1-4 property.
Most notably, anyone can take part in this. There’s no need for a World of Hyatt credit card or elite status.
Let’s go over the Hyatt Brand Explorer program!
World of Hyatt Brands
There are currently 30 different World of Hyatt brands, totaling over 1350 properties. Staying at any of these brands will count as 1 night for the promotion.
Note that you also have to book directly through Hyatt for your nights to count towards Hyatt Brand Explorer. Stays booked through third-party travel sites will not count.

You can track what brands you’ve stayed in and your progress towards your next free night in your World of Hyatt account. Log in, go to “Account” and toggle “Brand Explorer” on the left-hand side.

Redeeming The Free Night
Since there are 30 eligible brands, you can get up to 6 free nights if you stay at all of them. You can redeem a free night at a Category 1-4 property, anywhere in the world.
The hotel category can be found when you search for a destination. As you can see in the picture above, the category is listed under the hotel names.
You can also use their Find Your Hyatt page, and filter by region and hotel category.

Note that all Hyatt stays count towards the promotion, including other free nights and ones booked with points! So keep the Hyatt Brand Explorer in mind when booking award stays, because you can make your way to another free night during your free night.
Bottom Line
The Hyatt Brand Explorer is an amazing way to make way for a free night at a Hyatt property. There’s no need for a credit card or elite status, anybody can partake in this program. It’s easy and simple as well, and yet it’s a lesser known perk of the World of Hyatt program.
