American Airlines announced plans for a new and expanded Admirals Club at Nashville International Airport (BNA) on Monday, with construction set to begin in 2027.
The new space will span approximately 17,400 square feet at the airport’s new Concourse A, tripling the airline’s existing Admirals Club and making it the largest lounge at the airport.
The existing Admirals Club in Concourse C will remain open during construction and close after the new lounge opens.
American is continuing to expand its Admirals Club footprint, and its Nashville lounge is its latest addition to the network. The airline has also recently announced new Admirals Clubs for Austin and Chicago O’Hare’s Concourse L. Its Flagship Lounge network will also continue to expand, with plans for new spaces in Miami and Charlotte in the coming years.
“The new Admirals Club lounge at BNA reflects American’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience,” said American’s Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Design and Strategy, Rhonda Crawford. “This lounge is designed to give customers the spirit of Nashville while enjoying the comfort, amenities and service they expect from American.”
American’s new Nashville lounge will feature outdoor terraces offering sweeping airfield views and an indoor balcony overlooking the terminal building.
The new Admirals Club will also likely feature American’s latest lounge design concept with a softer color theme, found in Washington D.C. (feature image above), Philadelphia, and at other recently opened lounges.

Passengers can access Admirals Clubs with an Admirals Club membership, the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard, qualifying AAdvantage or Alaska Atmos status on international or premium transcon flights, or a day pass for $79 (7,900 AAdvantage miles).
