I write this as my family and I prepare for a drive to visit relatives nearby for a Thanksgiving gathering this afternoon.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I’d also like to take this chance to reflect on some of the things I’m grateful for, something I admittedly don’t do enough of, both on this website and in my life.
Taking a step back and looking at the broader picture, I can’t be grateful enough for family, friends, and everyone else with whom I interact in my life. Ultimately, I am who I am because of those around me.
I’ve been blessed with many opportunities to travel and discover my passion in following the airline industry and the frequent flyer world. And again, so many thank yous go out to the people who helped me discover this passion, and who helped me bring me to where I am today.
I joined the BoardingArea network towards the beginning of this year as well, and so much credit goes to the team there. I’ve had a spectacular time, and they’ve helped me find my unique voice in the vast space of the internet.

It has now been nearly 3 years since I launched this website on Jan. 3, 2023. Every day, I’m humbled and honored to see thousands of people visit, view, and interact with this website. There’s nothing I enjoy more than being able to discuss my favorite thing in life with you all, and I’m grateful to say that this has been a fantastic investment of time and money over the last few years.
So thank you.
Whether you left a comment that one time, suggested something, corrected spelling, or whatever else, thank you.
I have so much more I want to do with this website and my aviation writing as a whole. I’m grateful for where I stand today, and I’m happy to say that the future seems bright.
I also still have a lot of travel left this year, and a big international trip towards the end of December.
So once again, Happy Thanksgiving, and may you all have a fantastic day and a fantastic end to this year!
