Air France Reopens Lounge at Boston Logan Airport Following a Refresh

The refresh looks nice with new furniture, but I doubt it got rid of the cramped feeling with the lack of windows.

Air France had been working on giving its Boston lounge a refresh, which closed for renovation in March 2025. According to the airline, the lounge has now reopened today and is back in business.

This lounge is located in Terminal E, near gates E4 and E5. It’s down a set of escalators from the main gate area, tucked into a corner that’s a bit hard to find for first timers.

The lounge spans over 550 square meters (5920 square feet), and has a capacity of 126. Air France business class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus customers, have access, as well as those flying on SkyTeam partners and those with eligible SkyTeam status. This is also an option for those with Priority Pass.

The redesign highlights Air France’s signature blue and red colors, and features furniture “…with soft, enveloping shapes and meticulous finishes.”

The airline will also feature a French-style dining experience, with hot and cold dishes changing throughout the day.

Passengers can also find a bar with French wine, champagne, spirits, local beers, as well as cocktails and mocktails.

A new part of this lounge is a dedicated space for Flying Blue Ultimate passengers, made up of four seats (not the above photo 😅).

My biggest issue with this lounge is the lack of windows, making it a dark, sad place. That issue probably still lingers despite this refresh, but hopefully the colors and interior lighting make it a little more welcoming.

Additionally, the spacing and placement of the furniture seems to be a bit better (although it could just be from looking at these renderings with no passengers in them), which should also help with the cramped feeling this lounge has.
