Hyatt Announces New Luxury Property in Argentina

Hyatt has announced plans for Casa Duhau, the first Unbound Collection property in Argentina.

Hyatt announced plans this morning for Casa Duhau, a new luxury property in Argentina. This property will feature 52 villas and suites spanning nearly 1,000 acres and will be part of The Unbound Collection brand, the first in Argentina.

They shared that this property will “introduce travelers to Argentina’s wine region, set alongside vineyards with remarkable views of the Andes Mountains.”

Casa Duhau will be located in Alto Agrelo, Mendoza. It joins Park Hyatt Mendoza and Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires in expanding Hyatt’s luxury portfolio in Argentina. Construction of the hotel will begin by the end of 2025 with an anticipated opening date in 2027. The development of this hotel is in collaboration with the Scalesciani family, owners of Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, and the David family, Mendoza entrepreneurs.

Hyatt says that 40 villas will be “strategically located throughout the property to ensure absolute privacy, with extensive views of the Andes Mountains.” 12 suites can also be found in the main building. The hotel will also feature two signature restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a state-of-the-art spa, modern meeting rooms, a lagoon, and more.

Location wise, this property will be about 30 minutes from Mendoza and about 35 minutes from El Plumerillo International Airport.

“We are proud to announce plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Argentina through this highly anticipated luxury hotel project – and expand our relationship with the Scalesciani family, in collaboration with the David family,” said Cristiano Goncalves, VP, Development, South America & Caribbean, Hyatt.
