The FAA has issued a ground stop for all Alaska Airlines flights due to technical issues. Stating that “All Alaska mainline and subcarrier flights ground stopped,” no timeframe for the lifting of the ground stop has been given.
The FAA itself did not give specific reasons for the grounding, but Alaska Airlines provided insight that this is related to an IT/technical problem.
